Our own crew
17 years under Louisville houses, with our own crew doing the work.
Watertight is owner-led. The technician who inspects your house explains the plan, and our crew does the work in protective suits with the site left clean. IICRC certified for mold and water damage, Google Verified through Google Local Services, insured.

How it works
From wet to warranted in four steps
No pressure and no mystery. You see what we see, you get the plan in writing, and the work is warranted for life.

Free inspection
A technician goes into the crawl space or basement, photographs what is there and explains what is causing the water.

Written plan and price
One clear scope and one clear number, with options where there are real options.

The work
Our trained crew, protective gear, containment when there is mold, and a clean site when we leave.

Warranty for life
The lifetime transferable warranty is issued in writing and goes to the next owner if the house sells.

a month agoThese guys worked hard to do a great job and they cleaned and hauled away all the debris and trash. My basement is definitely beautiful. Thank you Watertight Waterproofing.
3 months agoAbsolutely a terrific job and work ethic. On time, called ahead the day before to confirm the appointment. Definitely goes above and beyond. Highly recommend.
4 weeks agoThis company Water Tight did a great job, they removed all of my insulation that was moisture soaked. Installed a new crawl space dehumidifier and treated for any existing mold problems. They added some steel shims to floor supports. They were very…

Where we work
Louisville, Jefferson County and the counties around it
Stone basements in the Highlands and Old Louisville. Crawl spaces under the ranches in St. Matthews and Jeffersontown. River-bottom water tables in Valley Station and Fairdale. Each part of town has its own water, and we work in all of them.
Straight talk about money
We will talk about cost before we are in your driveway
Most waterproofing companies will not publish a number. We do: the cost calculator prices your own project in two minutes, line by line, and the cost guide gives typical Louisville ranges for the ten services people ask about most and tells you exactly what the free estimate includes.
Guides from the crew
Straight answers before you call
Plain-language guides written by the people who do the work. No scare tactics, no sales pitch.

What humidity should a crawl space be?
Keep a crawl space under 60% humidity. Why Louisville crawl spaces run wet every summer and the fix in order: water, ground, vents, then the dehumidifier.
Read the guide
Crawl space encapsulation vs. vapor barrier
A vapor barrier covers the floor; an encapsulation seals the whole crawl space and adds a dehumidifier. How to tell which your Louisville crawl space needs, and why drainage comes first.

Do you really guarantee the work for life?
Watertight's work carries a lifetime transferable warranty, issued in writing, that transfers to the next owner if you sell. Ask for the written terms at your estimate; they are specific to the system installed. The warranty page explains how it works.
How fast can you come out?
Call (502) 701-7882 and tell us what you are seeing. We schedule estimates as quickly as the calendar allows and move standing-water situations to the front.
Is the estimate really free, and is there any obligation?
Free, and no. A technician inspects the space, shows you what he found and leaves you a written scope and price. You decide on your own time.
Do you work outside Louisville?
Yes. Jefferson County is home, and we regularly work in Oldham, Bullitt, Shelby, Hardin and Nelson counties and across the river in Jeffersonville, New Albany and Clarksville. See the service areas.
Do you handle the mold as well as the water?
Yes. Water is the cause and mold is the symptom. Watertight is an IICRC-certified company for remediation, and the moisture fix is built into the same job so the conditions that grew the mold are gone.
