Signs you need it

Cracks that let water in

A vertical crack in a poured wall that weeps

Shrinkage and settlement cracks are common and often sealable from inside.

Leaking mortar joints in block

Block walls leak through joints and cores. Sealing one spot rarely lasts; drainage does.

Efflorescence and staining around a crack

Water has been moving through it for a while.

Cracks that are widening or stepping

Those need a structural opinion before a waterproofing repair. We will tell you if that is the case.

What we do

Sealed at the crack, relieved at the source

Poured-wall cracks that leak are sealed with injection resins that fill the full depth of the crack and stay flexible, or from outside with a membrane patch where access allows. Block walls are a different animal: the water travels inside the wall, so we manage it with a wall membrane and interior drainage rather than chasing individual joints. In every case we look at why water is pushing through: grading, downspouts, the water table, and whether a drainage system is the real fix.

A crack that is opening, offset or stepping through block is a structural question. We will tell you when a structural engineer should look before anyone seals anything. We do not do foundation underpinning or lifting.

  • Injection sealing of poured-wall cracks, full depth
  • Exterior membrane patching where access allows
  • Block walls handled with membrane and drainage
  • Honest referral when a crack is structural

These guys were great to work with. Great customer service, great communication, friendly, polite, and great pricing. I'm very pleased with the work they did on my basement. If I ever need work done in the future, these are the guys I'm calling.

Zach’s crew of “good old country boys,” as he described them, waterproofed our basement December 1st and 3rd because we had a big-for-Kentucky snow, and the guys couldn’t make it to Shelbyville on the 2nd. From the website, we could tell they mainly…

Questions

Foundation crack repair: what people ask

Still have a question? Call the office, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

How much does foundation crack repair cost?

A single injected crack in a poured wall is at the low end of anything we do. Block wall leaks are priced as part of a wall membrane and drainage system. The estimate is free and in writing.

Is a crack in my foundation serious?

Hairline vertical cracks in poured concrete are common and usually a water issue, not a structural one. Horizontal cracks, stepped cracks in block, or cracks that are widening deserve a structural opinion, and we will tell you if yours does.

Will the crack come back?

A properly injected crack is sealed through the full depth of the wall. If the pressure behind the wall is not addressed, water finds the next weak point, which is why we look at drainage too.

Do you repair block walls?

Yes, but not by sealing individual joints. Block leaks are managed with a membrane and interior drainage, which deals with the water moving inside the block.
