Project
Crawl space encapsulation, start to finish
Bare dirt and rubble under the joists, then the same crawl space with a white reinforced liner across the floor and up the block wall.

Same job, before and after
Bare dirt and rubble to a sealed white liner
One pair of photos from the same Watertight job. Drag the line to compare. Nothing staged, nothing stock.

Before
Where it started
Bare, uneven ground with rocks and debris across it, a block foundation wall with nothing on it, and old fiberglass insulation hanging between the joists. A work light in the corner is the only thing that does not belong to the house. This is a vented, unlined crawl space, which in Louisville means ground moisture rising straight into the wood above it.
After
How it was left
The same joists and the same wall, now with a heavy white liner laid across the whole floor and run up the foundation wall. The ground is covered, the seams are overlapped, and the space reads as bright and clean instead of dark and damp.

The work
How a job like this goes
An encapsulation starts with a cleanout: debris, old plastic and ruined insulation come out in bags. If the space takes on water, drainage and a sump go in first. Then the reinforced liner is laid, seams sealed, piers wrapped and the liner fastened up the walls. Vents are sealed and a dehumidifier holds the air below the point where mold grows.
- Cleanout to bare ground before anything goes in
- Reinforced liner, sealed seams, run up the walls
- Sealed vents and a sized dehumidifier
