One job at a time
This company Water Tight did a great job, they removed all of my insulation that was moisture soaked. Installed a new crawl space dehumidifier and treated for any existing mold problems. They added some steel shims to floor supports. They were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this company and the price was right.

Zach’s crew of “good old country boys,” as he described them, waterproofed our basement December 1st and 3rd because we had a big-for-Kentucky snow, and the guys couldn’t make it to Shelbyville on the 2nd. From the website, we could tell they mainly waterproofed crawl spaces in unfinished basements, but we decided to take a chance on them because Edward Higgins, a trusted worker and friend, recommended Zach and vouched for his company and work. Moreover, Zach guaranteed his crew’s work, and the warranty is attached to the house. Even though Zach had the second-to-lowest bid, not the lowest (which I think killed him a little inside), we went with him. Our basement was a very lovely finished basement which flooded October 6th, destroying most of the baseboards and most of the carpet. Zach’s guys had to jackhammer around the perimeter, cut into our drywall, place polystyrene on the foundation, and put in a sump pump and connect it to our pipes which daylight into the ditch that lines our backyard. While it was very easy to type that last sentence, actually doing all these things was a challenge! I think our basement gets the trophy for most gravel in a foundation. We knew we had a well-built house, but this surprised everyone! It took much jackhammering to make the trough around the perimeter. It took much longer than anyone anticipated. When I looked at that mess, my heart sank. Waterproofing guys aren’t known for neat concrete pouring, but they did a good job. Zach made sure that extra care was taken in cleanup. He sent a separate crew, which we appreciated. Zach told us to wait for two hard, fast downpours before we finished the basement. We waited for three and then had Edward replace baseboards and drywall and paint. I must say I replaced the sump pump Zach’s guys put in with a better one with a longer warranty. Also, the plug lights up green which shows the electricity is on. (Zach has told me my warranty for the waterproofing is still good even though I changed out the original pump, and he says he stocks better pumps now.) We have had some major downpours since the basement was finished, and the sump pump and foundation work are doing their jobs very well. I still check the sump pump light often. I can’t help it after all those years of a slightly wet basement on occasion to a sopping wet basement last October. Our basement is back to being beautiful. It was hard being without a third of our house for six months. I am so happy the “good old country boys” came through for us!

He sent a crew of two guys out to install a new sump pump in my house, and they did an excellent job. 6 months agoZach, Deron and the crew are for real. When you invite a team of tradesmen into your home to fix an issue, there are qualities that are non-negotiable. Honest, trustworthy, prompt, communication, and a ‘blue-collar’ work ethic. Watertight Waterproofing takes pride in all of these qualities. Not only is there peace of mind that our basement water issue is resolved, we are confident it has been resolved thoroughly. Thank you.
a month agoThese guys are great. We just had a total encapsulation of our crawlspace. We had standing water underneath our house and it was causing problems. WaterTight Waterproofing came in and encapsulated everything. They put in a drain field and installed a crawlspace dehumidifier and a sump pump. They showed up on time and did the job expeditiously. All in all there is no one else we'd want to do this…

They came out quickly to repair the cracks in my foundation, and the scheduling process was easy and hassle-free. Their pricing was fair and competitive, and the quality of their workmanship was outstanding. The repairs were completed professionally, and everything was left clean when the job was finished. a month agoBig fan of WaterTight Waterproofing. I've had them work on a couple waterproofing jobs and I've been happy with the price and work I've received. Particular shoutout to Devin and Sean. I've been impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Including pictures of the drain system they installed around my garage. It has been nice not having to walk through a giant puddle to get to my car after the rain.

Watertight are the best. I searched around and had a few companies come give me quotes but Zach the owner made the decision easy. They are a great group of guys that just want to do a good job and make their customers happy. The delivered on both. They also deliver great prices and great service, this is the way business is supposed to be done. I had French drains installed on my gutter downspouts. We had some customary hiccups on the job due some unexpected issues but the watertight guys always had a solution. Zach will make sure things are sorted no matter what it takes. Zach even helped me draft up some documents to submit to my HOA. All around great service and great work. They have my business for any future jobs I might need. Highly recommended.

4 months agoThe team at Watertight was fantastic, every worker was polite and attentive to me and my family's needs. Not once was there any issue at all. Everything was handled correctly and efficiently. If you're looking for the best team in Louisville to do your waterproofing, Zach and his team will do the job correctly the first time without fail. Highly recommend.
